#quomade is an intitiative to tell stories of the processes with which we work at QUO. These stories are intended to share with our consumers - the work and activities occuring behind the scenes. The master's works, the designer's thoughts, the studio chaos - all that is "quo made" will be brought to you from these stories. Follow us on our social media platforms to know more about this initiative, and don't forget to share your feedback.
Inspired by the softer aesthetics of refined purity, this trend inspires us to breathe and rethink. The complications are kept hidden and merged with a more gentle tone of a fresh layer. Soft focus emphasizes on creating the need for layering and trapping over geometrically cutout structures. Ritual complexities are revisited and updated. The products are inspired by the everyday but are reinvented in terms of material layering in a new sense of delicacy.
Transparent layering dominates this trend. Soft coating paired with cutout linings and softened volume, takes inspiration from simple lines. Artisan meets tradition for a thoroughly modern execution. Lines and pattern are updated through modern use of line, color and materials.
Colors are filtered yet vibrant and sharp. The colors used are a bold combination of bright warms and a relatively smaller palette of soft colds. Fuchsia pink, bright orange and chrome yellow dominate this trend and at times, blend with one another to embrace a fresh aesthetic. While, midnight black, deep teal, cobalt blue, nude pink and pale peach compliment the dominant colors of this trend by default. With a few fresh neutrals added, this trend doesn’t fail to serve us a fresh palette of exciting new combinations.
Welcomed with a great set of friendly people, and warm hand shakes, Myntra Fashion Incubator (MFI), was truly a fabulous experience for us all. Just this other day, we got a call from MFI, telling us we were selected to be on of the top 30 brands for the first batch of MFI. It gives us immense pleasure not just to be a part of this amazing new venture, but also to be a part of the journey with these amazing 29 other designers.
We were tired of hearing our customers say our clothes only look good on a "model". With a desire to prove to them that our clothes, after all, are only made for them, we took a slightly different approach to bring this to their attention. And here's how.
